| DESMO TIMES is two things; a publisher for Ducati Maintenance and Modifications Manuals, and a retailer for select Ducati products. You can Click on the Product section for details of what I have to offer. I not only resell Ducati-related products, but I also design some of them. I also sell the tools necessary for owners to maintain their own Ducatis. | |

The concept for DESMO TIMES grew out of experiences in starting and growing a motocycle club (the Floribama Riders) and as as a motorjournalist (for Motorcycle Consumer News, several e-zines, and as a ghost writer for motorcycle performance books). The plan was to start a yearly Ducati publication. During my mental battles with the notion of starting a publication, I began offering my wrenching skills to friends who owned ducatis. The idea spread, and soon the DESMO TIMES concept formed. The name DESMO TIMES grew out of my early wrenching endeavors on Ducatis. I'd work my day job, spend some time with my lovely wife, kiss her goodnight and tell her that it was Desmo Time. This signified that I was headed out to the garage to burn the midnight oil working on Ducks. The name stuck, and now, rather than burn the midnight oil, my daily life is DESMO TIMES. |
| The DESMO TIMES shop and retail store is owned and operated by me, LT Snyder. I began working on my bikes out of a frustration in finding capable service technicians in my area (in the panhandle of Florida). After I began rebuilding my own Ducatis, I decided to take the next step by sharing my mechanical talents with other Ducati owners. In 2008, I realized that there wasn't enough of me to go around due to other career endeavors, and I decided to stop servicing customer Ducatis. It's all I can do to keep my own Ducatis running. |
