4V Opener/Closer shim kit - $359.00

These shims are heat-treated to meet or exceed Ducati OEM spec shims. The kit is designed for all Ducati 4V valvetrains (plus the Dualspark M1000, SS1000 and MTS1000/1100, Monster 695/696, and ST3 bikes). That means the kit will work on all post-1986 4-valve Ducati motors that are 748, 851, 888, 916, 996, 998, 999, and 695/1000cc non-desmoquattros. These shims will NOT work on the 999R/1098/848 motor, because they has a larger valve stem diameter. Sizes include 2.65-3.55mm closers in increments of .05mm and 2.45-3.25mm opener shims in increments of .05mm. 1 shim of each size is included = 36 shims. Shim measuring tool and measuring instructions included.

Note: Once you purchase a shim kit from me, I will sell you individual shims for replenishment. All measurements must be taken with the shim measurement tool and either a digital micrometer, or the digital calipers I sell.
