CRG Brake/Clutch Levers- $99.00 or $159.00 each lever

About 4 years ago, I decided to upgrade the brake and clutch levers on my 2000 ST2. I chose the CRG levers for two reasons. First, they look great. Second, the roll-a-click technology allows me to adjust the lever position on-the-fly with one hand. The 6-position lever adjustability was just what I needed to allow me the extra travel necessary for aftermarket clutch slaves. Aftermarket clutch slaves are easier on the hand, but require more lever travel for the same amount of slave piston movement. If you are having a tough time finding neutral on your Ducati, the solution may be as simple as replacing the clutch lever.

Well, the story continues. After using my CRG levers for about a year, I had a mishap while parked in the BCM parking lot in New Hampshire. The sidestand sank in the newly paved driveway and the bike tipped over. This resulted in a sheared off CRG clutch lever. Disaster, you might ask? No way. The CRG levers have a detent several inches from the end of the lever. Should the bike tip over, the lever end will shear off, but you can still ride. In fact, I simply ground off the end of the lever, and continue to use it to this day because I like the look. CRG must have had similar comments, because they came out with a "shorty" version of the their lever. CRG next added the option of folding lever what folds up in the event of a tip-over. Talk about innovation and quality.

The levers come in 3 models, 2 color choices and 2 Ducati pivot arrangements.

Model

  • Model 1 - The Shorty Lever - 1/5" shorter than the stock model. Will not get damaged in the event of a tipover- $109.00
  • Model 2 - The Standard Lever - Standard length with a detent towards the end of the lever in case of a tip-over - $109.00
  • Model 3 - The Folding Lever - Standard length with a pivot midway along the shaft. The lever folds up in the event of a tipover. - $159.00

Color Choices

  • Gold shaft, with aluminum colored pivot and red adjustment lever
  • Gray, with aluminum colored pivot and red adjustment lever
  • Black, with aluminum colored pivot and red adjustment lever

NOTE 1: On some levers with the 8mm pivot or the radial masters, extreme care must be taken so as to not destroy the pushrod actuator. The bushing is held in place with a 2mm set screw with glue. This actuator is not a Ducati part # and must be purchased with an entirely new master cylinder. Be VERY careful when removing the actuation rod from your stock lever.

NOTE 2: My order form captures your bike model and year of manufacture. CRG lever fitment applications are for original equipment master cylinders. If your bike has been changed to different master cylinders, the CRG levers may not fit.

NOTE 3: These levers are special purchase items and are non-returnable.
