Calipers need not be expensive. This unit can be used for all your Ducati
needs, including measuring shims, rotors, brake pads and bolts. Range of
measure is 0-4" (0 - 101.6mm). Installed and spare battery included.
I was skeptical of the accuracy of these calipers for use in measuring things
as small as shims, so I have been using in the garage along with my pricey
digital micrometer. Measurements have been identical.
