Desmo Times Tapered Roller Bearing Steering Head Bearing Kit - $55

This kit updates the plain ball bearings with heavy duty taper bearing replacements. A must do with any suspension upgrade or tune. Helps eliminate head shake, provides better feel than OEM ball bearings and requires less maintenance than stock ball bearings. Kits come complete with both upper and lower taper bearing cups and cones and seals. There are 2 fitments:

Model 1 - for all bikes that already have tapered bearings in them - Monsters prior to 2002 along with 91-02 750ss/sport and 900SS, and the 851/888 Superbike.

Model 2 - for all Superbikes 94-current, all Monsters 2002-current and Monster S4, Supersport from '03-'07, S2R, S4R, S4RS from 2001 to present, all ST2/ST3/ST4, all Multistrada's, Hypermotard, all sport classics including Mh900e, and Streetfighter.

NOTE2: Don't forget to get a steering head race remover tool here.

NOTE3: When installing Model 2 bearings, install the lower triple rubber seal with the lip pointing downward. If you fail to do this the rubber seal with get caught in the lower race and it will disintegrate and destroy the lower race. Don't send me an email asking why or how. If you don't want to take my recommendation, you're on your own.
