One of the problems with checking the valve clearance on Ducati engines is you need to push on the closing rocker arm. I've been using a screwdriver for years, but occasionally the screwdriver will slip off. When this occurs, a screwdriver can knife into the valve seal and ruin it. Mike at EMS came up with this clever tool to push on the closing rocker arm. The end is ringed to grab onto the closing rocker, minimizing the possibility that the tool will slip off the rocker arm. Should it slip, the blunt end won't damage the valve seal. The top of the tool is ergonomically shaped to fit the palm of your hand to give you leverage to push on the rocker arm. Brilliant.
