PIAA Extreme White Light Bulb - $34.95

After getting tired of the wimpy low beam on my Ducatis, I decided to upgrade to the PIAA Extreme White H3 bulb. The H3 replaces the stock low beam bulb on the following models:

• 748
• 916
• 996
• 998
• ST2
• ST4
• ST4S (2001-2003)
• Gran Canyon

Simple plug in design that is identical to the stock plug and shape. This bulb draws the same wattage as the stock low beam, but outs out the equivelant of 110 watts. The light color is 4000K, or white in the range from blue to Yellow. The stock bulb puts out a light that is 3200K in color, so the PIAA is much whiter. This light will be brighter for daytime visibility/safety, and will probably be bright enough for all of your nighttime riding. Because this bulb puts out the light equivelant of a standard high-beam, you should set up the angle of your headlight so as to not offend oncoming traffic.
