3/8" or 5/16" Reinforced Fuel Line - $1.50 or $3.00/ft

I sell two variants of fuel line, each with different inner diamaters. Type A is for NON-INJECTED systems and is rated at 40PSI. Type B is for INJECTED systems and is rated for 300 PSI. For Type A carbureted bikes, select 5/16" ID for most applications unless you have quick disconnects installed near the fuel tank. For Type B injected bikes, select 5/16" ID for applications WITHOUT quick-disconnects. Select Type B, 3/8" ID for models with quick-disconnects at the fuel pump. Both variants consist of highly flexible tubing that resists stiffness and cracking. Sold by the foot. Measure your fuel line length and tube ID before purchase. For most Ducatis, 5 feet is more than sufficient. To secure the fuel line to fittings, I recommend the Clamptite Tool.

Specifications:

  • Use with diesel fuel and gasoline with up to 15% ethanol
  • Temperature Range: -29° to +257° F
  • Color: Black
  • Hose: Buna-N (nitrile) rubber
  • Cover: Blended Buna-N rubber/PVC
  • Reinforcement: Polyester yarn spiral
  • Designed for inline connecting of fuel lines, this hose meets SAE 30R7 standards. Hose interior is smooth for unrestricted flow. Can be used indoors and out. Vacuum rating is 24” Hg @ 72° F.
  • Type A rated for 40 PSI, Type B rated for 300 PSI.

NOTE1: Ducati electronic fuel-injection runs at 44 PSI

NOTE2: You may use Type 1 fuel hose inside the fuel tank to connect the overflow and vent lines. Select Type B for lines inside the tank connecting to the fuel pump.

NOTE3: This hose is not rated as submersible, however, I have been using it inside fuel tanks for 13 years without problems. I still recommend changing out internal fuel lines every five years, but have experienced no problems with this fuel line deterioriating. If you want SAE30R10 submersible hose, you'll find in in 1 foot lengths for $5.00+ per foot. I don't use 30R10, don't stock it, and don't have a source for it.
