Oil Drain Plug - $27

Beginning in 2003, Ducati began using a new oil drain plug on select models. The new version of the drain plug is huge step backward. Ducati decided to replace the older drain plug (10mm socket head) with a newer style (5mm socket head). With only 5mm of bite, it is an easy affair to strip the socket head on the bolt. If this happens, you need to slot the head with a dremel tool and use an impact driver to pound off the stripped drain plug. Fortunately, the aftermarket has come to the rescue. The replacement drain plug has a magnet to trap debris, and includes a 10mm hex-headed end, ensuring troublefree installation and removal. It is also pre-drilled for safety wiring.
